    My training and extensive kit are equipped to match a diverse range of tones, types, and textures. I understand that undertones vary widely, and I take the time to get the match perfect. You will never be told your skin is "impossible" to match.

    Furthermore, I have specific experience working with a wide variety of hair textures, from straight to coily. I approach every client's unique hair with respect and the proper techniques to style it without damage.

    Unfortunately, I know that many people, especially my more melanated clients, have had negative experiences in the chair, from being overlooked to being mismatched. I am dedicated to providing an affirming and expert alternative. In my space, everyone is seen, valued, and deserves to look and feel their best.

  • Determining your skin tone can be difficult if you’re not used to it, but it's something I specialize in! During a makeup application or a dedicated beauty consultation, I will expertly analyze your skin's undertones and depth to find your perfect match. This ensures that every foundation, concealer, and powder I use (or recommend for you) will look seamless and natural.

    If you're unsure, the best first step is to book a consultation. We'll not only identify your skin tone but also find the ideal products and colors to make your complexion glow.

    Please note that while I can offer general guidance online, the most accurate assessment happens in person under natural light.

  • No. I am committed to using high-performance, professional products. Everything in my kit is comprised of brands that explicitly do not engage in animal testing. I am always happy to discuss your specific product preferences during a consultation to ensure my kit aligns with your values.

  • I offer personalized consultations designed to simplify your routine and elevate your everyday look. During this one-on-one session, we will:

    • Review Your Current Products: We'll discuss what's working and what isn't in your existing kit.

    • Identify Your Goals: Whether it's achieving a "no-makeup" makeup look, mastering a specific technique, or finding the perfect products for your skin type, we'll focus on your needs.

    • Get Hands-On: I will demonstrate techniques and recommend specific products tailored to you, from skincare fundamentals to makeup must-haves.

    This service is perfect for anyone looking to refresh their look with professional, unbiased advice. It’s an investment in your confidence and daily routine.

LOGISTICS

  • Yes, I am a mobile service and travel directly to you for ultimate convenience. My standard service area includes all five boroughs of New York City. Travel beyond NYC may be available for a additional fee. Check my services and rates for more information.

  • To secure your date, a signed service contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer are required. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your event. I accept various forms of payment for your convenience.

  • My booking guidelines are designed to create a seamless and stress-free experience for every event. I recommend booking as far in advance as your planning allows.

    • Weddings: I highly recommend securing your date as soon as you have your venue secured, as popular dates often book 9-12 months in advance. Please note that I absolutely cannot accept wedding bookings less than two months out from the event date. Furthermore, all wedding bookings require a prior consultation with the couple to ensure we are the perfect fit.

    • Major Events (Galas, Press Events, Red Carpets, etc.): For these significant occasions, I prefer a lead time of at least one week.

    • Other Special Events & Last-Minute Needs: I understand that life gets busy! With the exception of weddings, I can often accommodate last-minute bookings (within 48 hours) subject to my availability and discretion. Please note that a 15% last-minute fee will apply in most of these cases.

  • My hourly, half-day, and full-day rates are designed to offer you the best value for your planned needs. That said, things happen, and I can often accommodate!

    If you book me at an hourly rate and the service extends into what would qualify as a half-day or full-day booking, the rate will be adjusted to the corresponding package price.

    I will always keep you aware of the timing, and any potential for exceeding your booked hours will be communicated and approved by you before proceeding.

    This policy guarantees that you only pay for the time you need, while also ensuring my pricing remains fair and consistent for everyone. All details regarding timing and rates will be clearly outlined in our service agreement.

  • I understand that plans can change. My policy is designed to be fair to both of us while respecting the value of my reserved time. All times are based on the start time of your scheduled service.

    For All Services (Except Weddings):

    • Cancellation 48+ hours in advance: Your retainer or deposit will be refunded.

    • Cancellation within 48 hours: The retainer/deposit is forfeited.

    • Rescheduling 48+ hours in advance: I am happy to apply your retainer to a new date, subject to my availability.

    • Rescheduling within 48 hours: This is treated as a cancellation, and the retainer is forfeited. A new retainer will be required to book a new date.

    For Wedding Services:

    • The non-refundable retainer secures your date. Services can be rescheduled, but not cancelled.

    • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the wedding date will result in the forfeiture of the retainer, but the client is released from paying the remaining balance.

    • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the wedding date require payment in full of the remaining balance.

    No-Show/Late Cancellation Fee: If you cancel within 2 hours of your appointment start time or do not show up, you will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

  • While your event is of the utmost importance, so is your safety. If you need to cancel or reschedule your event due to illness, injury, etc. please contact me as soon as possible. For non-wedding events, I offer rescheduling based on availability with no penalty. For wedding dates, I strongly recommend that all clients secure wedding insurance. However, I will always work with you to try and find a solution.

    I have to cancel for illness or injury, it is my responsibility to inform you in a timely manner. I have a dedicated network of trusted, pre-vetted, and highly skilled professional artists. I would immediately notify you and work tirelessly to find a qualified replacement artist with a similar style and skill level to ensure your day proceeds seamlessly. This contingency plan is a key part of my professional practice to guarantee you are never left without service.

    My commitment to health is proactive; I am fully vaccinated and adhere to strict hygiene protocols to minimize any risk of cancellation.

The Experience

  • The trial run is a highly recommended pre-event session, typically for weddings, where we perfect your look. It’s a collaborative process where we try out your desired hair and makeup, allowing us to adjust and finalize everything long before your event. This ensures you feel 100% confident and stress-free on your actual event day.

  • For hair, please arrive with your hair clean and dry. Avoid using heavy products or conditioners at the roots on the day of your service.


    For skin, please arrive with a clean face. You are welcome to follow your normal skincare routine or not; I carry a number of moisturizers and skincare products in my kit. If you plan on getting any facial treatments, please schedule them at least one week prior to your appointment.

  • If I’m hired to stay during the event for touch-ups, yes! Either way, I’m happy to give you pro tips on how to maintain your look.
